Manitoba Lighting warrants products that are purchased and installed through Manitoba Lighting (Manitoba Limited Solution Warranty) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for as long as the warranty claim falls within the limited product specific manufacturer warranty coverage and period ((1) One Year/(5) Five Years/(10) Ten Years), with a standard (1) One Year installation warranty through Manitoba Lighting’s installation teams.


ASSIGNMENT


Manitoba Lighting in some cases may assign the manufacturer’s warranty to the client (Assignment Of Contract), where the binding agreement would indemnify Manitoba Lighting from product warranty claim.

Manitoba Lighting in some cases may assign the installation warranty to the client (Assignment Of Contract), where the binding agreement would indemnify Manitoba Lighting from installation warranty claim.

MANITOBA LIGHTING LIMITED SOLUTION WARRANTY


For projects that are eligible for the Manitoba Lighting Limited Solution Warranty- Manitoba Lighting will provide, free of charge, at it’s sole option, and or if the warranty claim falls within the limited product specific manufacturer warranty coverage, replacement part(s) or product (or if no longer available, a comparable product) to replace those which have proven defective in materials for a period of ((1) One Year/(5) Five Years/(10) Ten Years) based on the product specific manufacturer warranty period, and a (1) One Year Limited Installation warranty period.

Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) from the original purchaser must be made available to Manitoba Lighting for all limited warranty claims. This limited warranty is non-transferable, unless approved by Manitoba Lighting in writing prior to transfership. It does not apply in the event of product damage due to the use of other than approved replacement parts, installation error, abuse, misuse, or improper care and maintenance (whether performed by a electrician, contractor, service provider or customer employed personal). The limited warranty excludes damage due to unusual conditions identified at Manitoba Lighting’s sole option, Acts of God, or intentional abuse.

This limited warranty gives the original purchaser of a Manitoba Lighting Solution specific legal rights which may vary from province to province. This limited warranty does not cover any liability for consequential or incidental damages, all of which are hereby expressly disclaimed, or the extension beyond the duration of this limited warranty of any implied limited warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for an intended purpose. In some provinces the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages is not allowed, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

MAKING A CLAIM


For service under the Manitoba Lighting Limited Warranty, submit a service request (including a description of the product, model number, brief description of the defect, and proof of purchase or installation date) and send it to either of the following addresses:

Project specific warranty documents will be identified prior to agreement of the project and will be provided upon completion of the specific project.
